New Series Coming Up:

THE OPERAS OF DONIZETTI - 5 November to 28 January (No classes 19 Nov, 24 Dec, 31 Dec)

Several operas by Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848) are among the world’s most popular – L’elisir d’amore and Lucia di Lammermoor – are rightfully among many people’s favourites. Others, like Maria Stuarda, Anna Bolena, Lucrezia Borgia, Don Pasquale, La Fille du régiment and Roberto Devereux are also popular. Yet, Donizetti wrote some sixty-six operas (maybe more) and many of these works are filled with music just as beautiful as his better-known works.

Come and explore (nearly) all of Donizetti’s operas in this relaxed and informative 10-session course.
